Lagos petrol prices stayed steady this week
FuelNaija analysed 271 cleaned petrol-price reports submitted across Lagos between 4 and 10 May 2026.
The average reported price was ₦1,321.80 per litre, with most reports falling between ₦1,320 and ₦1,330. Prices were tightly grouped around the average, suggesting there was little major variation across the stations covered.
No clear cheapest or most expensive area
There was no obvious cheapest area in this week’s data, and no area stood out as consistently more expensive either. Most locations covered by fuelnaija were reporting prices within a similar range.
That means factors such as fuel availability and queue length may have mattered more to drivers than small differences in pump price during the week.
About the data
This brief is based on reports submitted to FuelNaija from 4 to 10 May 2026. Duplicate, unrealistic and abnormal reports were removed before the figures were calculated.
The results reflect fuelnaija's verified sample and do not represent every filling station in Lagos. Prices and station conditions can also change after a report is submitted.
